# nx:comp-duration-set

> Sets the work area duration of a composition

Sets the work area of a composition to start at 0 and last `value` seconds. Use it to set how long your rendered output is. The composition's own duration does not change.

## Example

## Parameters

**composition** `string` *required*

Name of the composition to modify

**value** `number` *required*

Work area duration, in seconds
